Sharing a common vision
To carry out its mission, Sodexo relies on strong relationships with all of its
stakeholders. In 2019, in collaboration with Business for Social Responsibility(1),
a new materiality study was conducted to identify and prioritize the key corporate
responsibility issues and their impacts. This study was carried out in consultation
with internal and external stakeholders, taking into account the evolution of
contemporary issues – social, societal and environmental – as well as the
evolution of the market and various expectations.
The consultations and analyses with employees, management team members , suppliers, clients, NGO partners, investors and ratings
agencies enabled the quantitative and qualitative assessment of the issues identified upstream by Sodexo teams. The 30 issues, clearly
defined and ranked by importance, were integrated into and enrich the Better Tomorrow 2025 corporate responsibility roadmap.
