Brexit:
In June 2016, the United Kingdom voted to leave the European Union. Sodexo has been present in the United Kingdom since 1988 and has around 31,000 employees there today. The United Kingdom’s exit from the European Union should not significantly impact the Group’s activities. The Group is a local player, working with local suppliers and employees, and very oft en for Government authorities and Government services. In the UK, traditionally, a large part of the services have been FM Services, which have demonstrated their resilience in the current Covid crisis. Action plans have been put in place to limit the impact of a no deal Brexit on food prices and availability. As usual, growth in activity will remain dependent upon outsourcing trends, growth in GDP and employment in the country.
