+0.7%

In Fiscal 2025, the total number of employees increased by +0.7%, reaching 426,464 at the end of the fiscal year.

This increase is due to the following factors:

  • In North America, the sales momentum in the region was offset by contract terminations in Education during the fiscal year, impacting headcount by -2.4% at the end of the period;
  • In Europe, the +4.8% headcount increase is mainly due to:
    • an increase in the headcount of Sodexo Live! in the United Kingdom, due in particular to strong activity in airport lounges and stadiums;
    • a strong sales momentum in Healthcare & Seniors across the region;
  • Finally, headcount increased by +0.2% in Rest of the World, due to:
    • strong growth in India in the Business & Administrations, Education, and Healthcare & Seniors segments;
    • robust activity in Brazil and Chile, driven by the Healthcare & Seniors business as well as additional volumes at existing sites;
    • the cessation of activities in certain countries during the fiscal year, neutralizing the increase in employee numbers linked to strong commercial momentum.
